Native executables use only a fraction of the memory and CPU resources required by a JVM, enhancing utilization and reducing costs.
GraalVM Community Edition includes only Serial GC. Liberica NIK, however, includes Parallel GC, which reduces pause times and improves application efficiency.
Instances begin processing requests instantly since native executables, compiled ahead of time, start up immediately and require no warm-up to achieve peak performance.
With near-zero startup time, scaling is seamless, allowing adding instances and memory as needed without under- or overutilization of resources.
The code of native executables is much harder to reverse engineer, especially when processed through an obfuscator before compiling a native image.
BellSoft offers production-ready containers with Liberica Native Image Kit and Alpaquita Linux. This lightweight OS reduces disk space, creating a base image of just 76MB.
